A Connecticut native, Jonathan’s foundation in the trades began at Emmett O’Brien Technical High School. Jonathan’s career began at the workbench of a local Connecticut stair shop. Over the following two decades, Jonathan immersed himself in every layer of the build—from the raw structural grit of framing to the sophisticated artistry of custom cabinetry and fine trim carpentry. 

This diverse field experience eventually led him into site superintendence, where he mastered the complexities of project management and structural oversight. After relocating to Charlotte, Jonathan founded JPO Construction to bring that "builder-first" mentality to North Carolina homeowners. Today, he is proud to grow his business in the Charlotte community alongside his wife and two children.
